This is a letter my wonderful cousin Rosalie Costin wrote to us on 4-13-02 after she and I  talked. I told here about the "Family Page" and this was her response after she visited it.

Subject: Family Tree

Dear Joey and Tena,

First, I must relate to you how enjoyable it was speaking with you this morning.(4/13). Needless to say, I truly enjoyed your web-site and relived every one of your incidences with relish. It was like a walk down memory lane and very very amusing as well as touching. Yes, if only we could go back and visit them again. At the time it was just living as usual, but today realize how very very lucky we were to have experienced all that love and closeness. I've often told my friends that we really didn't have to have friends outside the family as we really enjoyed each others company and had so many, many wonderful family events and gatherings.

I particularly remember )being only a few years older than you (ha ha) the Saturdays that Leslie, Louise, Susan, Dorothy, Angela and I would gather in front of the mirror in our house and do our singing and dance routine every single Saturday. We thought we were really "hot" when we pantomimed to the popular songs of the day. My poor mother and father had to see and hear the same boring routine and than of course we all went to Grandmom's house to gater. It was ritual! I really miss those days now that we have lost so many wonderful members of our family. Who could forget the New Year's Eve parties at Aunt Helen's or Grandmom's? We had so much fun.

Who would have thought that going outside at midnight and banging pots and pans would be so much fun?, not to mention the all night bingo games at Aunt Helen's house (she always cheated you know) only to be brought to the Mummer's parade by Aunt Dolores where we would stand on newspaper because we were freezing. Of course we had to stay to the end of the parade as cold as we were although we did sneak over to my other grandmother's house where we could warm up with hot chocolate and tea.

Yes, I can relate so many many happy memories of our family. Did you know that we always went to Frankford to visit Mary Ann and Pat because Mary Ann would not leave Aunt Lil. Mary Ann remains the beautiful, wonderful person she always was and is the epitome of class and sincerity. She truly is a doll.

Well, I will sign off for now as "The Brat" Bentley B Bird awaits me.

I also enjoyed the Simon page. Simon is a beautiful dog and the puppies were precious!

    Take care and be well.

    Michael sends his best regards.

    Love, Cousin Rosalie
